A brief history of Bracelands
Bracelands has been a well‑loved Forest of Dean campsite for many years. In 2023, it began a new chapter when Sherwood Pines Camping Ltd, in partnership with Forestry England Camping, took over the site – strengthening its long‑term commitment to accessible, sustainable woodland stays.
An award‑winning, spacious campsite with over 400 pitches in the heart of the Forest of Dean. Open all year, it offers camping, caravanning and glamping with direct access to forest walking and cycling trails a perfect base for exploring the Forest of Dean and the nearby River Wye, with an abundance of things to do locally and excellent transport links to the surrounding historic areas.
Something for everyone
Bracelands welcomes solo travellers, couples, families, groups and pets throughout the year. Whether you’re booking a pitch, pod or safari tent, the forest is ready to welcome you.

Glamping
Love camping but just prefer not to pitch a tent? Available all year we have fully equipped deluxe camping pods which sleep 5 each with en-suite toilet, or chose from our cosy camping pods sleeping 4, both offering pet friendly options.
During the summer months we also have fantastic, fully equipped 2 bedroomed, pet friendly safari tents offering that perfect family get-away for up to 6 people.
Facilities
We offer an onsite shop, stocked with basic camping essentials, pantry staples, milk, bread, sweet treats and snacks as well as gifts and toys. ·

Paws and unwind
Your four-legged friends are more than welcome to join in the fun and they can even camp for free! Each pitch allows up to 3 dogs, so no one has to miss out on the forest adventures.
With pet friendly glamping options, and accommodation sleeping between 2-6 people, it's time to paws and unwind at Bracelands.

Onsite catering
This season "Bracelands Bites" will be offering a selection of freshly prepared rolls, pastries, hot and cold beverages, sweet treats and snacks.
Opening times very throughout the season, please check on arrival where pre-ordering maybe available.
We also welcome our resident Pizza Van every Saturday between 4pm and 8pm, and have details of other local eateries which are happy to deliver directly to site whenever it suits you.
