** AVOID ** the route via Symonds Yat Rock over Huntsham bridge B4432, it has a 1:5 Gradient incline and is a very narrow single track road, unsuitable for large RV’s, Motorhomes and difficult for those towing caravans. Vehicles over 7.5 T are also prohibited on this road.
Via the M5 and Gloucester, merge onto the A40 and then take the Forest of Dean & Coleford A4136 exit (Staunton Road) continue for 5 miles > Turn left onto Grove Road > ½ mile Turn Left onto Broom Hill > Continue straight over onto Bracelands Drive > go past the Visitor Centre and continue for ½ mile and Bracelands Campsite will be on your right.
Via the M4/M48 over the Severn Bridge into Chepstow, then following the A48 for 2 miles. Turn left onto the B4228 following signs to Coleford. Go straight across the main Coleford traffic light and up the hill to a right turn called The Gorse - signposted Ross-On-Wye and Berry Hill. Go straight over at the crossroads onto Grove Road, follow for approximately 1/2 a mile then turn left onto Bracelands Drive > go past the Visitor Centre and continue for ½ mile and Bracelands Campsite will be on your right.
