Job Description / Required Competencies:
The role of the Manager(s) is to lead the site team from the front modelling standards and behaviors to achieve the overriding aims and objectives of the business.
The Manager function is to ensure the smooth day to day running of the site with proactive and hands on leadership to maintain the campsite and achieve the customer service and commercial targets of the business.
You will work along side the team to achieve both practical and operational excellence, and specialist external 3rd party organisations to deliver outstanding customer service whilst living on site.
Key Responsibilities.
The post holder will demonstrate excellent customer service skills, have a keen eye for detail and produce a high standard of work.
· Manage the smooth and safe operation of the campsite.
· Produce and manage a Rota that ensures the needs of the business are met.
· Office administration, record keeping & operate the booking systems
· Support site staff in any way necessary in order to create strong team ethos.
· Train staff when required.
· Recommend procedural improvements.
· Respond to all Customer queries or complaints in a timely manner.
· Take on project work as assigned.
· Support Directors on Ad-Hoc issues as when needed.
· Customer service and engagement reporting.
Specific daily, weekly, monthly tasks will include but not limited to
Answer all on site enquiries from staff or customers.
Respond to any requests made by the Directors.
Investigate any accidents and incidents and follow all health & safety procedures as directed.
Be able to report on all KPI’s.
Maintain all campsite logs and checks.
Order any supplies the campsite needs.
Maintain good relations with local stakeholders with particular focus on Forestry England.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
* Proven track record giving outstanding customer service.
* Proven management experience within the camping or leisure and tourism industry
* Experience in managing a team
* Excellent communications skills at all levels
* Self-motivated & able to work unsupervised
DESIRABLE SKILLS
Previous facilities maintenance or keen DIY experience
A passion for the outdoors, caring for the land
An understanding of Camping with Forestry England
Comprehensive range of tourist information
Excellent IT skills in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Knowledge of Health & Safety at Work / COSHH
Able to build trust and communicate effectively with people of all levels and abilities.
Good analytical skills, numeracy
Strong team player, able to nurture outstanding working relationships
Strong attention to detail

The role of the wardens(s) is to assist your fellow team members on the day-day operation of the site.
The role is to assist in the smooth day to day running of the site with proactive and a hands on approach to the maintain the campsite and achieve the customer service and commercial targets of the business.
You will work along side the team to achieve both practical and operational excellence, and deliver outstanding customer service whilst living on site.
Key Responsibilities.
The post holder will demonstrate excellent customer service skills, have a keen eye for detail and produce a high standard of work. Be keen to maintain the facilities to a high standard.
· Ensure you work in safe operation of the campsite.
· Office administration, record keeping & operate the booking systems
· Respond to all Customer queries or complaints in a timely manner.
· Take on project work as assigned.
Specific daily, weekly, monthly tasks will include but not limited to
Taking, amending bookings
Answer telephone queries / calls
Welcome customers, checking them in and directing them to a pitch
Regular cleaning and maintenance of the on site facility blocks
Regular ground works & maintenance
Work in accordance with shift rotation and other duties as required
